Working “within” the norms

The first few weeks at my new workplace had been dramatic and unexpected; some sights were piercing. I was struggling to maintain my focus still for more than 1 second then quickly averted my view from the scene finding a more soothing and comforting view. Could it be the set of values derived from the experience of the local individuals, and the will of a divine power in our men are different from that of those experts from an industrial country?

Air shower is a high-tech, but entirely gratuitous contamination control protocol run by cleanroom. We’re mutually cool on the use of the machine at the entrance of the cleanroom but that amounted to nothing as the result of controlling a clean environment.

Cleanroom users have been wearing their cleanroom suit and shoes outside the factory, walking on the dusty, dirty road; as if it were their work uniform rather than using it as a protective garment in a clean environment.

Each time I spotted long finger nails on a male worker, I have a terrible feeling as though I was meeting head-on a street junk. It’s sickening and disgusting!

Metals detector at the exit was most of the time guided by a male guard who would perform body scan on anyone who failed the metals detector.

The office workers have a strange impulse when using office equipment; it’s like a blacksmith at work – employ all the five basic operations or techniques in forging the metal: drawing, shrinking, bending, upsetting, and punching the iron into shape. Gosh, that’s so mean!

My Chinese clerk habitually bangs the drawers and slams every door of the office equipment insinuating …. People have been violently fighting for superfluous rights – Gay rights, Transsexuals Equality rights, Plant Rights, etc. Has anybody been cared for office dweller rights so far; that tone of working under a more enjoyable and compassionate atmosphere?

Laptop is the most common wireless device the employees are carrying as they move around the factory. It looks terribly heavy and awkward, yet people are carrying it with them for the reason that it’s the only association they could have close at hand connected to their everyday work.

Department morning’s meeting has been a SCREAM house for some stressed managerial staffs to mitigate all their nervousness cascading down to their subordinates. There has been so much to feel, serenade and brave from Madame Tussauds Wax Museum’s collection of most celebrative figures, but Niles Scream Park, conversely, has put forward a combination of scares, laughs and idle talks for everyone who attending that meeting.

If we’re to build a successful company and get the indispensable amount of high-tech innovation from the technological world, we’ve plenty resources at our disposal. The local professional appreciation of best-in-class workplace that parallels with those in a high-tech industry is a strong testimonial for the home funding company. From apparently ignorant to fully conscious, these irregular manufacturing or office practices stand as a testament to the weakness of local, hard-up and amateurish of local management.
