Habitat Penang Hill – A truly family trip

This is absolutely an ordinary family trip with 5 families travelling with different objectives; our little bucket list was fulfilled within this Habitat Penang Hill – a world-class rainforest preserve, a wildlife heaven on Penang Island, and the best place to o see and learn about various wildlife and plants.

The elders were overwhelmed to spend their quality time with the younger generations. For young adults, The Habitat Penang hill encompasses a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life accompanying the parents, they also found ways leading to balance their personal and working life at this natural preserve.

Places where we enjoy the most:

>Strolling on Iconic Treetop Walk, it’s also the best spot to have an arial view of Penang Island from 815 metres above the sea level.

> Exploring the winding trails, farms and gardens. Not really focus on exploring the special species of fauna and flora around us, instead , we talked about the good old times while strolling the nature trail, and played at the Giant Swing.

>Walking on a 230 metres long Langur Way Canopy was really fun. The biggest takeaway was we left the place with many hilarious vacation photos snapped from the two span stressed ribbon bridge.

>Walking down the hill after exited Kommune Penang Hill outlet, we chose to follow the trail leading to Kopi Hutan (above 730 metres above sea level), the sceneries along the way was beautiful. Stopped at the viewing area located between the outlet and Pelawan, this is one of the best spot to take a panorama photo of Penang from the hill.

>Dinning at the English colonial charm at David’s Brown restaurant,  Brown’s Restaurant & Tea Terrace. The foods were delicious, even the prices were considered a bit expensive, I think it worths to try especially the extraordinary dinning experience at the peak of Penang hill.
